All guardian visa applicants must have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of their stay in Australia, students and other secondary applicants.
Under the SSVF, the Single Immigration Risk Framework does not apply to guardian visa applicants. However, all guardians must provide proof of financial ability with their application. Proof of financial ability can be in any of the following forms:
1. Prove that the guardian's spouse has an annual income of more than 70,000 Australian dollars;
2. Prove that you have sufficient funds to cover the travel expenses and living expenses for the first 12 months of yourself and all the sub-applicants.
