Gingerbread Village
Epicure's Gingerbread Village has a new home on level 4 of the Emporium. Over 600kg of gingerbread, 460kg of royal icing and 200kg of marzipan have been painstakingly carved into some of Melbourne's most iconic landmarks.
Here you'll see gingerbread villagers strolling through familiar places like Luna Park, Federation Square, the Shrine of Remembrance and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Epicure's pastry chefs will also serve you some delicious Christmas treats.

Elfie Selfie Finding the Elf

Melbourne City Christmas Treasure Hunt Melbourne Treasure Hunt
This Christmas comes with a magical treasure hunt through the heart of Melbourne. Collect treasure maps from the Mary Martin Bookshop and start searching for clues in Melbourne's hidden laneways and arcades.
This year's treasure map is again designed by local children's author and illustrator Mitchell Toys. Based on his fascinating new picture book, Wizard & Co. Toy has also created a stunning Christmas illustration for a bookstore window featuring the book characters and the last clue.
The scavenger hunt begins and ends in the bookstore and is open to children ages 5 to 12, but everyone is welcome. This year's route takes about 90 minutes to complete.
*The bookstore is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
